Privacy policy FAQ
10 questions, answered
What information does The Auto Dialer collect?
Four kinds, set out in section 1: account details given at sign-up, the lead data your team imports, call activity such as number, time, duration and outcome, and device and usage data like app version and crash logs.
Does The Auto Dialer sell my data?
No. Section 4 says the data is not sold. It is shared only with service providers that help run the Service, such as hosting, messaging and payment providers, as far as needed, or where the law requires disclosure.
Who owns the leads my team uploads?
Your business does. Section 5 says the lead data you upload belongs to you, and that you are responsible for having a lawful reason to contact those people and for following the calling and messaging rules that apply.
Why does the Android app ask for phone and call log permissions?
Section 3 explains that phone, call log, contacts and notification permissions let the app place calls from your SIM, record the outcome of those calls and remind you about follow-ups. They are used only for those features.
Is the audio of my calls recorded by the Service?
Section 1 states that the Service does not record the audio of your calls. What it keeps about a call is the activity record: the number dialled, the time, the duration, the call type and the outcome your caller selects.
How long is my account data kept?
Section 6 says account and lead data are kept while your account is active. After cancellation they are held for a limited period so you can request an export, then deleted from the active systems.
Can I ask for my data to be exported, corrected or deleted?
Yes. Section 8 lets you request correction, export or deletion of your account data by writing to us at the contact details in section 11. Uninstalling the app stops further collection from that device.
How is my data protected?
Section 7 describes account logins, role based permissions and encrypted connections. It also states honestly that no system is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Can someone under 18 use the Service?
The Service is meant for business use and, as section 9 says, is not directed at anyone under 18. Accounts are opened by businesses for their own staff.
How will I know if this policy changes?
Section 10 says any revision appears here, dated at the top. The date shown under the heading tells you which version you are reading, so compare it with the one you saw before.
